Twizel Cricket Club
Twizel Cricket Club (TCC) was started to allow children in the Mackenzie Country the opportunity to play cricket in the South Canterbury Cricket competition. Children aged 5 -13 years can play.
TCC aims to:
-Create a platform where kids can actively participate in sports and develop physically and socially.
-Offer cricket skill development
-Have fun playing cricket
-Enjoy being part of a team
The cricket season begins around Labour Weekend till school finishes and then again once School goes back at the start of the year through till late March. (roughly about 6-8 games before Christmas and the same after Christmas)
A, B1 and B2 grades play on Saturday mornings and games are located around South Canterbury. C grade games are Friday afternoons.

Practices currently are Thursday evenings 5-6:30 in Twizel on the school field, Monday evenings 4-5:30 in Tekapo on the school field.*
Transport is generally organised in a car pool style.
Registration costs are $40 for the season and the only other costs are providing white cricket pants.*
