William Rogers #17

 

William started riding a motorbike at age 4 and from day one he was very  keen. William joined the South Canterbury MX club at the age of 5. His parents Matt and Kate soon recognised William’s commitment, determination, and passion for the sport of Motorcross. This was more than just a hobby. 

William soon started racing and he hasn't stopped since. He started racing a KTM-SX50, and had much success on this bike. He is mow racing a KTM SX65 and has a good chance to be top of the table this year.

You have to be very dedicated to race coming from Twizel as you travel quite a few miles to get to the races.

Motorcross

​

The Motorcross season runs from July to June, with a break in January.

Points are accumulated each month and accumulate towards the years total club points

The club have monthly meets around the South Canterbury region so you have to be very dedicated to race, as you travel quite a few miles to get to the races from Twizel.
